Social wing
The social wing as the heart of the OSTRALE complex is a place of vivid communication and social and cultural exchange. It has available the space for interdisciplinary cultural events and productions including all requirements like social infrastructure (catering, sanitary units, accommodation), workshops, working space, studios, which can be rented temporarily by artists and other creatives.
Because of the overall artistic and cultural context the cooperation with institutions like the “Hochschule für bildende Kunst” (university of fine arts) with the aim of promoting students and upcoming artists emerge. The OSTRALE temporarily provides space for large-size projects and objects. In the future a small stage and exhibition space shall be established in the former dining-hall of the social wing.
